Children's and Pet
Costume
Parade
Children and/or your pets are encouraged to wear a costume so they can parade down 6th Avenue for all to see! The parade will go down one side of 6th Avenue and come back up the other side ending where it started. Our theme is "Fall Harvest" so dress up in a "harvest-inspired" costume. (i.e. an apple tree, a combine or tractor, a pumpkin) Be creative! The parade will kick off with story time followed with the walking parade. Gather at the intersection of 6th Ave and 8th Street at 11:15 a.m. Suggested entry fee for each child and/or pet is a canned good to be given to the local food pantry.
Goodie bags will be given to each participant!
Craft Show and Food Vendors
Make sure you visit the craft and food vendors that will line 6th Avenue, as well as the many stores in the downtown area that will be open for business that day.
